Bringing STEM to your community
We are the bridge that connects the Not-Yet-Reached STEM students to STEM professionals.
The Four Pillars of a Fibonacci Center™
At the Fibonacci Center™ at Gas Light Square, we are committed to reaching the “Not-Yet-Reached” while continuing to serve the Greater Baltimore community through high-impact, hands-on STEM engagement.
Our mission is to provide students with access to immersive, experiential learning environments that spark curiosity, build technical skills, and expose them to real-world STEM applications and career pathways.
As a STEM Gym, the Fibonacci Center™ is anchored in four high-demand workforce pillars:
Robotics Engineering
Advanced Manufacturing
Biotechnology & Life Sciences
Cybersecurity & Information Technology
Through these focus areas, we intentionally align student learning with the evolving needs of industry, government, academic institutions, and community partners through our participation in the Maryland STEM Education to Employment Ecosystem (MSE3). This cross-sector approach ensures that learners are connected to real-world opportunities, career pathways, and workforce demands, where the need for STEM-skilled talent continues to grow across Maryland.
The Fibonacci Center™ is more than a learning space—it is a talent development engine. We are cultivating the next generation of engineers, technologists, scientists, and innovative entrepreneurs who will drive Maryland’s economic growth and solve tomorrow’s challenges by meeting the STEM-workforce needs across the state.
This 2026-2027 season we will continue our National Cryptologic Foundation Cyber Ambassador Program and reintroduce the AI Robotics Teams
